Easter Island - Immigration

Entry requirements are the same as Chile mainland.

Passports must be valid for at least six months.

Length of Stay:

Law 21.070 (August 1, 2018) indicates that every person, Chilean or foreigner, will have the right to enter and remain on the island for a maximum period of 30 days, extendable under certain conditions.

Visas:

Visas are not required for citizens of U.S.A, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, U.K. and other European countries.

If a visa is required, it must be obtained in advance.

Citizens of Australia, Canada, Mexico and the USA may be charged a processing fee which ranges from US$15 to US$132 depending on nationality.
