All arrivals must complete the entry form at https://ingresorapanui.interior.gob.cl/. prior to entering the special Territory of Easter Island - Rapa Nui.
Call the Maritime Authorities before arrival on VHF Channel 16 - call sign "Pascua Radio." You may not get an answer depending on the time of day, but keep trying. As the island is surrounded by protected reefs, it's important you are given a designated anchoring spot by the Port Captain. English is spoken but there may be difficulties.

Clearance must be undertaken at Hanga Roa. An agent is not required for the clearance of recreational vessels.
You will need to provide copies of passports and boat registration. You may also be asked for your AIS track or a screen shot of your daily way-points.
Official who will visit include police/ immigration, customs, agriculture and health. Expect a lot of paperwork, but it will be completed with impressive efficiency.
You will be asked to fill out form "Anexo A" on arrival.
Officially, the Armada requires all visiting yachts to monitor VHF Channel 16 at all times, even at night. If you move anchorages, due to swell and weather conditions, you must notify the Armada of your movements in advance on VHF Channel 16 or WhatsApp +56 9 8823 0089.
It is the skipper's decision to leave someone on board at all times for safety reasons, but this is not mandatory.
On departure, it is necessary to clear with Customs and Immigration. Visit the Gobernacion Maritima and they will organise for Immigration to come and stamp your passport.
You will be asked to fill out form "Anexo B" on departure to obtain an exit zarpe.
If proceeding directly to Chile, the zarpe will allow you to avoid repeating clearance procedures on arrival to the mainland.
