There are flights from Bali to Europe, Australia, the USA and Singapore. There is an extensive network of internal flights between the islands.
Public transport from Serangan or Bali Marina is non-existent, taxis are the only option. There are always taxis waiting outside the marina. Prices should be negotiated in advance, but prices are very reasonable. It is best to take one of these drivers for any shopping trip - to go to the fresh produce market in Denpasar or to the Makro supermarket. (2012: US$10 to Denpasar/Kuta/Sanur)
Buses - Bemos (co-op vans) roam everywhere (except as stated above).
Car Rental - Can be arranged through the marina reception.
You can rent a motorbike for about US $3/day/. Watch out though, traffic in Bali is scary.
