Airport

Airport Isla San Cristobal (SCY) is approximately 2km from the town center.

Airlines

The inter-island carrier is Emetebe.
LATAM and Avianca both provide flights to the mainland.
All three airlines have offices in the airport.

Fly Galapagos provides daily inter-island departures, as well as private charters and scenic flights. Maximum capacity 6 passengers. Group discounts are available.

Bicycle Rental

Chalo Tours Ave Espanola (next to the police station) hire bikes.
Other bike hire stores are also available, including at the Patagonia Restaurant.
Cañon Point Adventure Shop bike hire and bike tours. Office close to the main pier.
Expect to pay around US$35 per day, including transportation to the Highlands.

Ferries

There is a daily ferry service from San Cristobal to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz, leaving at 0700 and 1400, and returning at 1400 and 0700. It costs approximately US$30-35 (2021) and takes 2 hr - 2.5 hours.

Taxis

Double-cab 4x4 pickups are taxis. Just hail one down in the street. For an island tour, you can also hire the driver by the hour. It costs US$1.50 per stop (2023).

Water Taxis

Taxi Acuatico - call them on VHF Ch. 14. Price is US$1-$2 per person per ride.
