There are several laundries. Good equipment, folded and dried. Open 7 days a week. Allow a 24-hour turnaround.

Lavanderia Rosita - Av. Espanola.
Laundry - Av. Alsacio Northa, just up the hill from the traffic lights.

Expect to pay around US$2/kg for wash and dry service.

Provisions:

There is a good municipal market (Mercado) for cheap, fresh produce; fruit and vegetables as well as meat and eggs. It is held every day (ask a local for directions). Saturdays and Wednesdays generally have more stalls.

There are many bakeries (panaderias) with European-style bread.

Dos Hermanos on Quito has good provisions. Marialeta Tienda, one block before the market (on your left as you are walking up from the harbor) will fill orders from the mainland for veggies and gets several shipments flown in each week. Other small tiendas dot the town selling bacon, yogurt, cheese, etc. Each seems to have its own little niche.

The two smallish supermarkets have a surprisingly wide selection of supplies.

There is a fishmonger across from Wreck Bay Divers, and Isabella butcher shop around the corner from the market with fresh local meat and frozen imported meat.

Wine is available but expensive.
