Provisions:
There are limited supplies and groceries in Luperon. Puerto Plata (1.5 hours drive away) has a wide selection of groceries in the big supermarkets there and Santiago (2.5 hours drive) has an even bigger supermarket.
A fresh vegetable truck visits the marina regularly, its arrival announced on Channel 68.
There are two markets in the town that have basic supplies, as well as various small stores and street stalls selling fresh produce.
Laundry:
There are laundry facilities at Puerto Blanco Marina.
Laundry facilities in town are next to Wendy's Bar.
Alternatively, 3 local contractors that operate in the anchorage will collect laundry from your boat. Contact Papo, Andy or Domingo on VHF Ch. 68.
