Buses are excellent, get the 910 to the beach from the town center. There is a regular bus service from Santa Cruz to Marina Tenerife, about a 15-minute journey. The central bus station (Estacion de Guaguas) is south of the capital, from where there are bus services to all parts of the island and to the two airports.
The main international airport Aeropuerto Reina Sofia (0034 922 770050/759627)is on the south coast near Los Cristiano. The smaller airport Los Rodeos(0034 922 252340) closer to Santa Cruz, has mostly inter-island flights and flights to mainland Spain. There is a regular jetfoil service from the center of Santa Cruz to the center of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and also to Morro Jable, Fuerteventura.
There is a regular ferry service from the center of Santa Cruz to Agaete on Gran Canaria and also to Morro Jable on Fuerteventura. Frequent ferry services between Los Cristianos and a Gomera.
