Retesting in progress

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

This is a Port of Entry.
See Canary Islands Formalities for full details of clearing into and out of the country.
Any vessel approaching Santa Cruz de Tenerife’s Port should contact “Tenerife Traffic” control on radio channels 16 or 74 at 12 miles or 1 hour before arriving. The control centre will then ask for information about the ship and advise a switch to VHF working channel 12, and to maintain a permanent listening watch on VHF channels 16 or 74.
All vessels should keep a listening watch on VHF channel 12 when sailing up to 3 miles to/from the port entrance.
Arriving yachts should wait for an assigned berth and not go to a pontoon unless instructed to do so by a port official.
On arrival, the skipper should report to the Port Authority or marina office who will advise on procedures. Marinas will contact the relevant authorities on their behalf. After having checked in, yachts may cruise around the Canary Islands with no restrictions, however, documents may be checked at subsequent ports.
Skippers of non-EU registered yachts or non-EU crew may be required to go to the Policía Nacional office which is located in the Fred Olsen ferry terminal building.
As the Canaries are duty-free, yachts are not required to clear customs.
Crew members who are leaving the Canaries by air must take their passports to the immigration office (ask in the marina office for directions) to have their passports stamped on entry.
