When paying with a credit card in restaurants or supermarkets, as a foreigner you will often need to show either your passport or a photo driving license. The closest ATM machine for yachts in the south of the marina is at the Sotavento Centre (open from 1200 every day) or at the La Caixa Bank in the Centro Ciudad Jardin, next to the Hotel Santa Catalina (5-minute walk). The Hotel Santa Catalina also has an ATM to the right of reception. For yachts in the north of the marina, the closest ATM is on Leon y Castillo, just across the main road from the north exit ramp.
