Retesting in progress

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Laundry at the marina.
The village of Caille Coq stretches along the south and west shorelines of the anchorage. It is made up of a collection of small buildings, houses, fishing nets and boats pulled up on shore and sailboats anchored stern to the beach. The people from the village speak mostly French and Creole, but some can communicate in English as well. Most people are very friendly and happy to welcome cruisers.
Several entrepreneurs will offer you services including boat cleaning and maintenance jobs, laundry services, guided trips to the market and the village of Madame Bernard, and several people will arrange to prepare dinner for you at their homes in the village.
Try a walk to the market on a Monday or Thursday (60 minutes if you are quick) and sail back on one of the local boats. Cruisers report this is a wonderful experience, with fresh fruit growing in abundance all around. Alternatively, speak with Sam Altema, who can be your guide.
