Electricity:
Guyana uses American two-square-pronged plugs (also known as type A as well as Type G and Type D). Currents are 127V, 60Hz.
Water:
Water is generally not portable but can be collected in the frequent rainstorms. Some of the river resorts near Bartica and in Georgetown may provide it.
Fuel:
Available at the river resorts near Bartica or through an agent in Georgetown.
LPG / Gas:
LPG Gas can be filled in Bartica.
Provisions:
Massy Stores Guyana is large western-style supermarkets, open daily and located at the Amazonia Mall, Providence East Bank, Demerara and the East Coast MovieTowne Complex.
Repairs & marine supplies:
There is a wide range of hardware stores. There is a shipyard with a dry dock in Georgetown which may be able to help in an emergency.
