Restrictions for Yachts in Guyana

Driving:

A foreign national visiting Guyana with a valid Foreign Driver's Licence may drive in Guyana for sixty (60) days after entering the country. After sixty (60) days, a person must apply for a Foreign Driver's Permit to continue driving on public roads.

To apply for a foreign driver’s permit, visit the Guyana Revenue Authority website for further details.

Alternatively, you can obtain a Driver's Permit at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA).
