Arriving in Guadeloupe with a Pet On Board

Entry requirements for pets in Guadeloupe are the same as for pets in France.

Pets imported from non-EU countries must be declared.

Your pet dog or cat must:

  • be accompanied by a health certificate from an official veterinarian of the country of origin.
  • be identified with a microchip.
  • be vaccinated for rabies at least 30 days before arrival.
  • have a Rabies Titer Test (if coming from a high-rabies country) at least three months before traveling.

Animals (dogs and cats) less than 16 weeks old, even those vaccinated for rabies, are not allowed.
