Retesting in progress

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Mooring for Clearance:
Anchoring close to shore here is more difficult now that new mooring buoys have been laid. The majority of these moorings are used by local boats. The safest option is to anchor further out, away from the mooring field in approx. 30-40ft.
Once secure, dinghy ashore for clearance.
The dinghy dock is in the middle of the main town strip. Much more convenient than the old location up the small river.
General Process:
Clearance is now online - there is no need to go ashore and see anyone. For full details on clearing into and out of Guadeloupe, see the main Formalities section.
However, if clearing out and you need to get your clearance papers officially stamped (necessary if departing for a non-French island). This can be done at the Port Authority office, a small, grey container in the middle of the fishing harbour, on its eastern edge. A 5 Euro fee is charged.
This office is a 3 minute walk from the dinghy dock to the south or you can dock directly in the small fishing harbor.
Opening hours are: Monday - Friday 08:30-14:00 and Saturday -8:30-11:30, closed on Sunday.

Le Pelican has now closed, which means there is no longer a clearance computer available here.
If you need an authorized clearance computer for inward clearance (i.e. you don't have internet access on board), then the nearest is at:
