NO gas bottles without security valves will be refilled in Curaçao.
Camping Gaz bottles cannot be handled.
Many cruisers may find the only option is to buy an American bottle and regulator.
From Spanish Water take the bus 6A (CaracasBaai/Punda) to Willemstad and then take the 4A (Seru Fortunas) bus and stop at the industrial zone with Kooyman / Building Depot.
Here you can buy an American bottle (local name BBQ propane tank (aluminium ~9kg of gas) and the regulator.
To get the bottle filled, take the bus 4A(Seru Fortunas) and stop at the Curoil station in Münzenberg. To return, take the bus 4A back to Willemstad and then the bus 6A to CaracasBaai. It will take all day to complete this procedure.
It may also be possible to leave empty bottles at the Fisherman's Harbor bar with owner Norman. You leave them on Fridays and can pick them back up on Mondays.
