There are several supermarkets and a bakery in the commercial centre. The nearest supermarket is Cemetra, open daily 0900-2000. Supermercado Avenida has a smaller selection, but late opening hours, located underneath the esplanade by the central beach, open 0900-2200 daily.
Every Friday there is a small market in the town, although the Tuesday market at Arguineguin, only a few miles along the coast, is far better for provisioning.
