Visitors must have a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond return date and must also have at least two blank pages.

Citizens of the United States, Canada, Australia, Israel, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Brazil and other countries do not need a visa to visit Latvia. For a list of countries whose citizens may also enter Latvia without a visa for stays up to 90 days, see www.mfa.gov.lv/en.

Visas can be extended at the Office of Citizenship and Migration for nationals which Latvia has a bilateral visa waiver agreement.
