There are flights from Tarawa to Funafuti (Tuvalu), Majuro (Marshalls) and Nadi (Fiji) for international flight connections. There are internal flights to most of the other islands.
Car Hire: For $50 per day, you can hire a car from the Utirerei Motel (phone 22530) at Ambo Village. There is no paperwork, they just give you keys and off you go.
