A permit is required to visit the area and Park Rangers do visit to check them. A permit can be obtained online at National Parks Authority website.
There are restrictions on landing, anchoring, fishing, diving etc. Several areas cannot be visited at all. Some yachts have been heavily fined for breaking the rules.
The local Tourist Office has maps/charts of the restricted area.
