Getting Online
Galilea Computer, behind the post office, sells broadband modems that work across a variety of services. Get the modem there, but then go and purchase a SIM card and high-speed data plan from Telkomsel.
There is a large Telkomsel office just up the road from Galilea towards town. The data bundled with the modem runs out quickly and is effectively useless (sold as “unlimited” but so slow, it’s not functional, making this two-step process necessary). Data plans are 30 days and readily recharged around the country.
