Georgia - Immigration

Passports must be valid at least 3 months on entry and should have 2 free pages.

EU citizens may enter Georgia with a travel document, as well as with an identity card issued by a Member State of the European Union. The identity card shall contain the name, surname, date of birth and a photo of the person.

Immigration Process:

Citizens of the countries in this link, may enter Georgia without a Visa for 1 full year (unless otherwise noted).

If a visa is required, it is advisable for short term visitors to obtain one in advance through the e-Visa Portal (without having to visit a Georgian Embassy or Consular Office).

In order to get a visa of any type through a Georgian Embassy or Consular Office (for example in Istanbul or Trabzon, Turkey), the E-Application System must be used. The system allows to submit e-application for booking time for submission of visa application.
