Office du Tourisme is near the jetty at the north end of town, is open 7:30 am to 6 pm Monday to Saturday and 9 am to noon on Sunday. Some of the staff speak English.
There is also a small tourist office next to the marina office.
A public swimming pool is located at the opposite end of the park from the tourist office.
It is the starting point of for several ecotourism circuits. A good place to start is the Rainforest Information Centre, 9 Rue Victor Hugo, which offers maps and books.
