Garbage should be put in sealed plastic bags and handed over to be disposed into the port incinerator. Garbage should not be discharged without the permission of the quarantine officer.
The locals do welcome food scraps for the village pigs, or to fertilise the plants - as opposed to throwing them over the side.
Please use your holding tanks within 500m from land or near villages, traditional food collection areas, marine reserves and of course wherever people are swimming.
