There is a coin operated telephone for local calls only at the yacht club. The Red Sea Hotel nearby allows international calls to be made by non-residents and it is also possible to send and receive faxes at the hotel (Tel. 223 334, Fax 227 661). There is a post office in Port Tewfik, on the western bank of the Canal, open daily Saturday to Thursday 0830-1500.
There are very reasonable internet cafes just 5 min. taxi ride from marina.
On the right-hand side of the main road into town, there is a prominent Vodaphone shop on the corner for SIM cards.
