Diesel and unleaded petrol are available by jerry can from the service station which also has cans which they will lend out for refuelling purposes if required. If you need diesel, it is easier to get it here than at Cocos Keeling.
The service station is located on Gaze Rd adjacent to the visitors/tourist centre. Walking distance from the jetty is about 1.5 kms. They will also pick you up and fill your jerry cans for you.
Current fuel prices per litre: diesel AUD2.25 and unleaded petrol AUD2.28

LPG:
Cylinder refills are available at Christmas Island Hardware. The current charge is approximately AU$38 per refill for a 4.5KG cylinder.
