Laundry is available from several hostels and shops in town. Additional private laundry services are regularly advertised at Micalvi.
There are several bakeries, grocery stores and a Fruit & Vegetable stand in town. Cruising boat crews are no longer allowed to shop at the Naval supermarket. Most staples are available, including frozen and (sometimes) fresh meat and seafood. Fresh fruit and vegetables arrive on the Saturday ferry from Punta Arenas.
Provisions can also be ordered from Lider in Punta Arenas and delivered on the Saturday Ferry.
