Fuel is available from the filling station with jerry cans which is about 500m from the Micalvi YC or at the fishermen's terminal by tanker truck by negotiation with the station and the Navy. A permission form will be required from the Port Captain to take fuel from the tanker. Diesel is of very high quality in Puerto Williams. Fuel must be paid for in cash.
GASCO - Propane is available from GASCO. Most common foreign bottles can be filled, and Chilean bottles can be exchanged. Wave down the truck or take your bottles to the filling station on Monday, Wednesday or Friday at 0830am. Payment is made to the truck driver, in cash. The main office can be found in the Centro Comercial.
