Caleta del Sebo - Docking

YOU MUST PRE-BOOK A BERTH HERE

Pre-book a berth for the marina in Caleta del Sebo via the Puerto Canarios website, or download their App to do the same. If you don't pre-book, you won't officially be allowed into the harbor. Yachts are turned away for not booking in advance.

Look for a spot on the north side of the harbour, west of the ferry quay, opposite the crane - its the closest to the town and washrooms.  There is water but electricity is not connected.

Marina Information:

The harbor has been extended with marina pontoons for over 200 vessels, 20 of which are reserved for visiting yachts. Berths for yachts to 15m with drafts of 2.5m or more can be found on the eastern finger pontoons. Fingers are short. You must reserve a berth prior to arrival. Security guards patrol the harbor.

The shelter is good and there is water available. Prices are very reasonable and it is close to the charming town.

There are a toilet and cold shower in the same building as the post office. The post office is in the low white building in the NE corner of the quay and is only open during the morning. There is however a guard who can show you where to berth 24/7.

Anchoring

Parque Natural del Archipelago Chinijo:

Most of the island's coastline is under the management of the Parque Natural del Archipelago Chinijo.

Permission must first be obtained in order to anchor off the islands of La Graciosa (Playa Francesa) or Alegranza (El Veríl) within the marine reserve of El Chinijo Archipelago.

Complete this form with all the details and send it to the following email address of the Environmental Department of the local Lanzarote government: medioambiente3@cabildodelanzarote.com. Be aware that the form requests applications to be made 30 days before the intended stay.

Playa Francesca is 1.5 miles west of La Sociedad.  There is a path along the shore but no road to the town.  Holding is good in the western part of the bay.  In the eastern part there are rocks under a thin layer of sand.
