On the corner of the main road is a laundry, Lavanderia Elsa.
Arguineguin is a popular place for yachts berthed on the south coast to stock up for their transatlantic crossing. There are plenty of shops and several supermarkets. On the main Las Palmas road, 500 m past the first turn-off into Arguineguin, is large cash and carry wholesaler, Cash Diplo, open 0830-1400 Monday to Saturday. The most interesting shopping to be done, however, is every Tuesday when an open-air market takes place in the streets of Arguineguin.
