Arguineguin - Docking

Oct 26, 2022

YOU MUST PRE-BOOK A BERTH HERE - SEE TOP OF PAGE FOR DETAILS.

Entrance:

When approaching the long breakwater it is advisable to keep a good lookout for departing fishing vessels and ferries.

Harbour Information:

There are rarely any available moorings for visiting boats so it is highly likely you will have to anchor. The harbor has a boatyard with a travel lift.

Water, electricity, and fuel are available near the root of the main breakwater and LPG and other supplies are available locally.

There are good, simple fish restaurants here.

Anchoring:

It is possible to anchor just north of the inner breakwater and take a stern line to it - in 4m over sand. There is room for about 6 yachts here.

Alternatively, anchor in the well-protected area between the harbor and the beach. The holding here seems to be reasonable.

Dinghies are allowed on the short pontoon just south of the travel-lift in the small boat harbor/marina.
