El Hierro is the first island in Europe with free WiFi throughout the area.
The Post Office is in Calle de Correos, Valverde, open 08:00-15:00 Monday to Friday, 09:00-13:00 Saturday.
There is also excellent mobile phone coverage throughout the island. It's area code is 922, the same as on Tenerife and the islands of La Gomera and La Palma.
