Electricity
Note: a C style plug can be used with E and F receptacles. All double-insulated appliances are indeed fitted with a C plug and can be used in any compatible receptacle (C E F and narrow L). Type C receptacles are prohibited in Belgium.
Water
Water, toilets, and showers at all marinas.
Fuel
No fuel berths at Brussels or Ostend, but other ports have fuel available.
It is illegal to buy or use marked red diesel. See restrictions for further details.
Getting Work Done
The best facilities are concentrated in the ports of Ostend, Zeebrugge and Nieuwpoort, all of which have yacht clubs and docking facilities. All repair facilities are available, as well as chandlery, fuel and provisions. There are also good facilities at Antwerp, where there is access to the inland waterways.
Provisions
Belgium has the full range of supermarkets found in other European cities and international foods are easy to find. Groceries are on average 10% more expensive in Belgium than in France, the Netherlands and Germany.
