Entrance into the main harbor is clear if you stay close to the green light of the jetty. Once in the main harbor, there are dangerous patches of rocks almost everywhere and it is shallow. Care should be taken.
The marina here is tucked into the southern portion of the harbor. Normally very sheltered, but at high tide, it is subject to significant swell.
The town has a bank, post office, health center, and a supermarket.
