Description:
Tripoli is the capital and main port of Libya. It is a modern city with a population of about one million. The old city, " The Medina " is at the centre, next to the harbor. Due mainly to its isolation from western tourists, as well as a greater prosperity, there is a pleasant freedom from persistent salesmen not experienced in neighbouring countries.
