Roja is situated at a small river with the same name. The estuary is surrounded by piers and approaching offers few difficulties.
There are good facilities for yachts in the inner harbor, close to the bridge. The approach is straightforward, but the outer harbor is shallow outside of the leading lines. The maximum draft is three meters.
There are some good restaurants and provisioning here, as well as diesel fuel. North of the harbor there is a good beach.
The town has pharmacies, banks, post office and provisions.
