It is not safe to enter this harbor at night. The inlet of river Lielupe is surrounded by shallow sandbanks.
There is a red leading light, but the buoyage has no lights. From the safe water buoy, follow the channel markers to the river entrance. Once inside, take the starboard channel and follow the channel markers to the yacht berths.
The town has stores, a bank, pharmacy and medical services.
