Firearms must be declared upon arrival and a permit must be issued by the Kuwait Ministry of Interior.

Alcohol, unsealed milk products, unsealed salty fish, unsealed olives and pickles, food prepared abroad, fresh vegetables, shellfish and its products, fresh figs, mineral water and goods of Israeli origin are prohibited imports.

Videos, DVDs and books are subject to censorship depending on the content.

Alcohol is prohibited in Kuwait.

A permit from the Ministry of Information must be obtained to take photographs.
