Kiribati - Fees

Immigration:

• Visitor's permit free for the first month.
• Visa extension can cost AUD$60AUD per month per visa.

Port Captain:

• Clearance is free during working hours (08:15 to 16:15) Monday to Friday.
• After hours on weekdays, the cost is AUD$5 per customs officer per hour.  On weekends the cost is AUD$10 per customs officer per hour.

Anchoring Fees:

• There are port dues of AUD$50 per month, payable on departure to the Kiribati Port Authority (KPA) Office.  Ensure you save the receipt and present it to Customs who will issue departure clearance.

Port Dockage Fees:

• To get fuel at the port dock in Kiritimati “Christmas” Island, the cost is $60AUD (wharf usage fee).
