The port is often full of local boats. There are 3 floating pontoons and Pontoon no.1 is designated for public mooring.
There is a fuel berth in the port, as well as toilets and showers.
There is also a 45-ton mobile crane, slipway and a good range of repairs.
The town has a bank, post office, provision shops, some medical facilities and pharmacy.
