Description:
Usefully situated about halfway along the Northern coast of Sicily, Cefalu's old harbor has a pretty aspect and the town’s pale cream/white church is easily identifiable from the sea. The walk to the top of the hill, having come through the village, is well worth the effort.
Entrance Notes and Cautions:
The mole has now been extended but due to fallen masonry, keep well clear of the end of the mole. The whole harbor does suffer from significant silting and can shallow to less than 1m on the western side. It is open to the east and suffers from dangerous swell when the wind is from that direction.
