There are several marinas close inside the western entrance to the lagoon where there is a dredged canal which leads to the town of Marino Lagunare. On this side, there is also the channel leading to the Marina Punta Gabbiani.
Further east there is another canal, Canale di Portobuso which leads to the Marina Sant'Andrea.
