The only place available for visiting yachts is Batavia Marina (see photo left courtesy of Gary Penney).

Marina Pantai Mutiara, just west of the Phinisi Harbour, cannot be entered at low tide.

Batavia marina is in the old harbour of Sund Kelapa located west of the commercial docks. See Cruisers' report with the details of the approach to Batavia Marina and/or comments posted below.

The entrance has reported depths of less than 3m at HW. Keep to the centre of the entrance and head towards the small house/platform on the wall behind the entrance and between the markers.

Note that the lit channel marks are difficult to identify at night due to the city lights. It may be advisable to anchor off the breakwater and wait until daylight.
