The town has 2 small supermarkets and a good selection of other shops, including several hardware stores, a covered fruit and vegetable market, several banks with ATMs and 3 internet cafes. Laundry service is available at very reasonable rates and ice and potable water is available close to the dinghy dock.
The Honduran capital, Tegucigalpa is a 2-hour drive away and has several large international stores for major provisioning.
