Retesting in progress

YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Anchorage
The anchorage area is bounded by low volcanic islets and is generally quite calm but it is best to anchor in as far as possible to avoid any swell. Cruisers report depths of 4m to 6m - more than is charted (0.5m).
Anchoring is in sand with good holding. There is room for about 20 yachts but beware of submerged reefs and shoals which are above water at low tide. The anchorage is well protected from the swell.
Swimming and kayaking around the anchorage are not permitted.
Dinghy Docks
The dinghy dock, known as the embarcadero, is located to the very east of town. Unlike other anchorages, you can leave your dinghy here, but it must only be used to get to and from your boat.
If you do take your dinghy just to drop people in/out then DON’T go straight across the anchorage as its full of rocks! Instead go the same way as the local boats, which is right around the outside. See this map from SV Hawkeye:

Do not snorkel from your dinghy or go to surrounding beaches. Sea Lions remain a threat to your dinghy, but the threat is smaller here than on other islands.
It is advisable to use a water taxi for your visit ashore before you consider your dinghy.
A water taxi can be called on VHF Channel 14 and costs US$2 per person until 2100. The water taxi may occasionally operate after 2100 and charge a higher fare of approximately USD$5 per person.
To reach the town from this dock, follow the road, which bears to the left, and stay left when the road branches. The town is about a 15-20 minute walk away.
Rubbish Disposal
Recycling bins are available at the embarcadero, about 100m up from the dock, to the left near the toilets.
