Good shelter but care need to be taken if entering in strong southerlies.
Call on VHF channel 09 or telephone in advance of arrival. Possible to book a berth 48 hours in advance but stays are limited to 2 days in high season.
The visitors' berths are on pontoon A, directly opposite the entrance.
It is possible to anchor off in the bay, but only in settled weather as the holding is suspect.
