This is a busy, well-sheltered harbor with three basins, each approached through a narrow gate. Beware of the strong surge which occurs at these gates.
There is usually room for a yacht in the middle, fishing boat basin and there may also be room on the west quay in the inner basin.
Skopun is a large village with a reasonable range of shops.
Water is available on the quay.
