Description:
Isla Meanguera is located in the Gulf of Fonseca in El Salvador and opened as a port of entry in 2021. This is a useful clearance port in the south of the country near the border with Nicaragua. It is a small village with a few simple restaurants and limited services. The Bay of Fonseca is a beautiful area with many old volcanos surrounding it that are now islands in the Bay.
