Port Said - Docking

Jul 28, 2025

Port Said Yacht Club is temporarily closed for re-development.

The Suez Canal Authority are currently developing all yacht-related services and infrastructure in the three Canal Cities. Lots of services are planned including maintenance, yacht cleaning, toilets & showers, business center, club house, barber shop, ATM, kids play area, medical service, garbage service, coffee shop & restaurant, laundry, water & electricity etc.

The yacht club marina in Port Said was historically reported to be dirty and suffer from the swell of passing boat traffic. The north wall offered the best protection. It is hoped that services and protection will be greatly improved under the currently development plan.

Currently, cruisers don't recommend staying at this port. Apart from the moorings being affected by the wash of traffic leaving the canal, you are likely to be charged whatever the numerous officials think that they can get away with. See latest feedback in comments.
