Anchoring/Moorings:
It is possible to anchor here, and there are some moorings.
Dinghy Docks:
It is not possible to land your dinghy at the marina if you are anchored or tied to a mooring ball, not even if you are willing to pay a fee. The dinghy landing service is only available for marina guests.
Due to high theft in the area, it is not recommended to beach your dinghy in Playa Herradura.
Marinas:
This marina will not admit sailing vessels unless you have already checked into Costa Rica. It is primarily a sports fishing marina and is not cruiser friendly. See Related User Comments.
A dinghy landing service is only available to guests docked at Los Sueños Marina.
