Provisions, although not hard to get, are pricey.
The border town of Paso Canoas is a better option if you need anything (alcohol much cheaper here as well as foodstuffs). Either take the bus or a Collectivo (group taxi), that often stops by the bus stop just prior to the bus itself. Avoid a rental car as parking at the border would be a problem.
